Aaaaahhhh!! What a wonderful break after putting in new floors and painting…I had to reward myself, didn’t I? Well, of course I do now have some beautiful additions to the house, and I do love my office, but I also needed to make sure I got some time away.
What better way than a few days up in Lake Arrowhead.
We had access to a wonderful (& big) cabin, with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and one of them even had jets, so it was like having my own little jacuzzi in the room. We did some hiking, fishing, relaxing,
played pool, and didn’t work at all. It sure felt nice to be
back in nature and I guess that’s part of why I truly seem to enjoy my nature design in my new office.
I guess I’m sharing this with you as a reminder to ask yourself, when was the last time you gave yourself a nice and relaxing get-away? It is amazing how much more productive and effective you can be when giving yourself some down time.
So what are you waiting for? Go ahead, at least start planning where you are wanting to go. Take the steps and commit to taking some time for you and watch how much more effective you can be.
