Here is my healthy smoothie of the day. As many of you know, I love those quick and easy smoothies of the day. Thus, whenever I find one that I like, I tend to share it in hope that a simple smoothie will help you in creating a great start to your day.
If you combine your smoothie ingredients just right then it can not only be a nutritious drink, but also a super simple recipe to implement. I know I've shared other smoothie recipes like Dr Oz Green drink recipe, however, that one is probably not as good tasting as the ones I am sharing below. I wanted these to focus more on the yummy side and then on the healthy side. I trust you'll enjoy them.
I am currently using my old Juiceman Juicer, but I am in the process of researching other power juicers, because my juicer is pretty old and about to go. Now onto our healthy smoothie recipes:
I found this one online, and it was called a Liquid Salad Smoothie:
They claim that the high potassium content of this nutrient-rich juice makes it helpful for regulating blood pressure, and it's pretty good.
This particular ingredient recipe makes about 1-1/2 cups.
- One apple
- One kiwi
- One celery stalk
- One ripe tomato
- One quarter bunch of parsley
A quick hint to help clean out the ingredients before processing them. Drop them into the sink full of water and add some kosher salt to the water. Then just scrub them a bit & they're ready to use.
Take all the ingredients and process them through a good juicer. Make sure to combine them well before drinking.
