I Won This World Cup Of Soccer

What? Yes, that’ right! I said I won this FIFA World Cup 2010 Of Soccer. Anyone who has kids will be particularly appreciative and understanding of what I mean by the end of this article. As some of you know, I have been blessed with having a beautiful addition our family, and she is now 3 months old. Thus, sleep and rest doesn’t come quite as often as it used to. But thanks to this World Cup Of Soccer, I have been able to sneak in a few more naps than before.

Why? That is because apparently my beautiful little daughter loves to watch soccer. I don’t know what it is about it, but she is just mesmerized by all back and forth action soccer brings. Literally, she can sit through an entire game just kicking along (it is actually quite funny), she is just kicking along during the game. It is almost as if she was taking part of the game. The only parts that she gets a little restless is during half time, when there is no soccer action going on. Otherwise, she is pretty involved in the game. Hopefully now it makes a little more sense as to how I win during these World Cup Soccer Games. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching some of them myself, but apparently I’m not quite as much into soccer as my little girl is. I guess there is something to be said about a child taking in what a mother is experiencing while being in the womb. Before we knew we were pregnant Cathy was heavily involved in soccer and she was truly enjoying her soccer games, and I trust she’ll get back into it someday. Maybe that has something to do with our little one enjoying soccer? That being said, I’m still not sure how our little boy has adopted so much passion for trains and fancy cars…cause neither one of us really get into them…who knows…

Anyway, I guess since we are talking about the World Cup, do any of you have any predictions as to who will win the whole thing? Though I’d like Mexico or US to win the whole thing, I believe it is going to be Brazil. What do you think? Feel free to leave your prediction below in the comments section.
