Healthy smoothie recipes that are quick and easy to make is are perfect way to start my day. Being a work-from-home Daddy, I often find myself not having much time to whipping up a healthy breakfast. So when I find smoothie recipes like the one from Dr. Oz on the Oprah show, it made sense for me to try it out. I like smoothie recipes that are easy and quick to make, this allows more time for me to get my day started.

Below you’ll find the smoothie recipe along with where to get some of the resources Dr. Oz shares, I’ve also provided some of my other personal favorite recipes. Enjoy your healthy smoothie & create an amazing day.

Now on to your healthy smoothie recipe:

The Quick Magical Breakfast Blaster2 servings, 136 calories per serving

  • 1 scoop (1/3 cup) Soy protein
    (In the past I’ve used SynerPro, Personally I prefer whey protein, so I use Nutri-Burn)
  • 1/2 tablespoon flaxseed oil
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 large ripe banana (or other fruits of your choice)
  • 1/2 tablespoon apple juice concentrate or honey
  • 1 teaspoon Psyillium seed husks

Peel banana; break into chunks. Put all ingredients in a blender. Add 12 ounces of water and ice, as well as powdered vitamins. Cover, blend until fairly smooth.
