What are my iPad secret weapons?

So I finally got my iPad, I’m really excited.  It’s such a fun tool,  I first thought it’s just gonna be oversize iPhone, which I guess it kind of is. But it terms with what I can do with it, it’s really just phenomenal, it’s really is.  Yes I can have a laptop a little laptop (which I have) that I can carry with me and it has its place, but there are some things the iPad can do better.  Please note I’m well aware that the iPad is not intended to replace a laptop or the computer, but in terms of how quickly I can use all the resources within it, it’s by far a much better than my little computer.

Again the iPad doesn’t replace a computer but it really does make a really easy  just carry it with you to a coffee shop or nearly anywhere to do some work or simply enjoy.  As a matter of fact, this article has been done in right from this cool resources and its at a local book store. So there you have it, I’m able to build my office and put it anywhere that I want, that being said, part of what I’m  going to share with you are some of my favorite applications that I’ve found to be of most useful and have helped me be more effective in what I do.

Here is my list of “Secret iPad Weapons” (just sounded cool to say that), I hope they help you:

1. IPro recorder» is a  recorder that you can use from your iPad or iPhone to record any length message and send it via email and/or upload it to a free server.  As a matter of fact, it’s actually what I’m using to dictate exactly this article exactly and have it transcribe, it’s easy to send the message and be be done with  it.  This is a paid tool
2. DocsToGo» is basically Microsoft word, excel, you can get PowerPoint with your Iphone or Itouch which makes  it really nice to be able to work on all  those files right from where you are at. If you are into Microsoft words use it quite a bit. It’s really an easy tool to use. This is a paid tool.
3. InstaViz» , is a flowcharting tool that works right from your iPad, iPhone or iTouch and it’s very easy to use.  Now Anytime I do a new process, whether for business or whether idea one of the first step I do is to flowchart it, and once its flowcharted then it makes it really easy to set up an action plan for people to follow it so those of you who ate using it how powerful it is, it’s in your fingertips. Just create it, modify it whatever you want to and then send it off whether it has picture pdf or how you want to do it I totally recommend it. That’s a paid application so it’s up to you if you want to get it. The only drawback is that you actually need to buy this one.
4. DropBox» it’s a really cool tool and it’s free.  You can think of it as a protected folder that’s out there and whenever you put a file from your Ipad or Iphone onto that folder you can actually log in at home (or vice-versa) you will have that in a folder that’s sitting in your computer.  Think of it kind of a USB drive but you don’t have to carry anything with you.  Plus the other neat thing is you don’t have to keep switching files back and forth and trying to remember which is the last version you edited. You can actually just take  the file  put it in there modify it on your IPad and its updated , modify it at home its updated too, so in either case you have the latest version and you got a good amount of free storage which is really nice.
5. If you’re into online meetings, GoToMeeting finally has an application which is free. Unfortunately they don’t have one where you can run the meetings yet but I’m sure they will come up with one, it’s a must have.
6. Skype allows you to use your Ipad as phone which you can use to call anybody in Skype for free or for a small fee you may actually call landline or overseas.
7. Simple Note is sort of like a notepad, but similar to drop box whenever you update something on your phone it synchronizes automatically just whatever file you have at home just log in and have those file so if you have notes you don’t have to be emailing yourselves or remembering the latest version of what you wrote and its really easy application to use and its handy. Plus it’s free.

I will stop up here for now, because I can just keep going on and on and on about all these great apps .  My goal is to provide you with the top iPad or iPhone apps that have helped me increase my productivity and hopefully will help you create your success.  Most of them are free applications but some you may need to buy.  Feel free to search them via your iPhone or iPad, or if you simply want to find them  right from iTunes , then press here and you’ll end up at the apple store.  Enjoy!

My brother Efrain was diagnosed with Cancer a while back, and in his healing journey he has shared some great insights he’s had.  Recently he shared some of what he believes has helped him in his journey with healing cancer, and he allowed me to share some of what he’s learned from himself.  Now, keep in mind that this is simply a sharing of a story, not to be confused with a treatment.  Please be responsible and consult your own medical professional before taking on any healing programs.

So here is what he shared with me in his words:

In my journey of healing my body from cancer, I’ve had the opportunity to be able to learn so much more about the immune system and how important that is in having a healthy body. If there is one major thing that I would focus on my entire natural healing journey would be and having a healthy immune system. And I discovered so much about the immune system and things that could help it that I just figured I would just share this information.

Please keep in mind that this information is for entertainment purposes only or informational purposes only. Its not intended to replace your medical doctor or health professionals. So please take it as that and make a responsible decision if you’re going to utilize any of this information.

That being said here are few things that have been very useful to me. And I hope that they are useful for somebody else in the future.

1. Vitamin A -  Vitamin A has supported my immune system tremendously and more and more I read about it, it has done wonders for many people so that is one of the key things.
2. Vitamin C – We all know about Vitamin C, but I didn’t realize how vital it truly was until actually have that be part of my immune system support.
3. Omega 3’s – Omega 3’s particularly Flax seed oil. Flax seed oil if it’s uncooked it actually has been something that has provided my body with one of the essential oils that the body needs and it helps reduce inflammation and just tons of things that it does well, but that would be one other things that I have in my arsenal.
4. And from there, some of the other general things like healthy emotions, keeping your body positive, laughing, having a positive outlook in life regardless of what the situation is, creates a tremendous support for your immune system particularly in the area of your body’s acidity or alkaline level, which is known as PH levels. That would be another area.I know that the ideal PH level for me and I always thrive for is 7.4 in my urine and in saliva especially and particularly in the mornings. And one thing that has helped greatly for me to maintain that balance has been something as simple as having a glass of lemon water prior to going to bed. Not right away possibly maybe an hour or so before it so I can use the rest room and rest.Well, but a simple glass of lemon water has helped maintained the alkalines in my body. If you research more on the acid and alkaline levels you will find that some minerals get absorbed some don’t, and some vitamins get absorbed and some don’t depending on the alkaline or acid levels in your body.

I could keep going, but I wanted to keep this a little bit general, simple tips, secrets as you would, to share with you and hopefully be of use to somebody.  I trust you are doing your own research and that you found this information useful and remember to consult with your own health professional before taking on a new health plan. Looking for Allergy Relief? Then, understanding the difference between Food Allergies  and Food Intolerance is important. This allergy & food intolerance topics can be a bit confusing.  I personally didn’t have the grasp on these two definitions until I had to look a little closer into allergies due to some allergic reactions my son was having.  This article provided by a well respected nutritional consultant, Dirk McDaniel, helped me get a clear understanding of how I may be able to support my son’s allergies and his food intolerances.

You can’t drink milk because it gives you an upset stomach. Whenever you eat shrimp, your skin starts to itch. You eat wheat and then bloat. Eating cheese makes you sleepy. Are you allergic? Intolerant? Is there a difference? If you’re like most of the population, you may have no clue what the problem is. Americans can’t tell the difference between a food allergy or food intolerance, and don’t understand the treatment options available.

Food allergies can be very serious, enough so they can be fatal; while food intolerance usually just causes discomfort. Envision not being able to consume wheat, milk products, or eggs. This affects all social situations such as parties, holidays, schooling, vacation, or an evening out dining. It is an every waking moment ordeal.

If something you eat seems to make you sick, here are a few ways to tell the difference between food allergy and food intolerance. A food allergy is the immune system mistakenly attacking the proteins in a food. When the body mistakes a food as a foreign damaging substance, it produces antibodies to fight that substance. The next time the body encounters that food, the immune system immediately reacts, causing hives, swollen tongue, inflamed lips, dizziness, and fainting. In severe cases death. The most common food allergens are milk products, peanuts, wheat products, shellfish, and eggs.
A food allergy can disappear with age. Milk product allergies are the most common food allergy that disappears as we age. However, the only way to effectively deal with food allergy while you have one is to stop eating the offending food.

Unlike food allergies, food intolerance has nothing to do with your immune system. People who can’t tolerate foods lack some component in their digestive systems that’s needed to completely digest the food. An example is lactose intolerance that occurs in people who lack the digestive enzyme lactate. Food intolerance isn’t life threatening, it just creates discomfort. Symptoms are likely to be related to digestion, including cramping, diarrhea, gas, and bloating. Some people can tolerate small amounts of the offending food without the problem symptoms.
Celiac disease, a condition in which people can’t digest foods containing gluten, is one of the more common forms of food intolerance. Most of the adult population has some degree of lactose intolerance. Another common intolerance is soybean. If you’re not sure which food is triggering your digestive problems, eliminate all the suspects from your diet and add them back in gradually. Some food intolerances can be treated so take it slow. You can add lactate to your diet, the missing enzyme in milk intolerance. Beano, sold to prevent beans and vegetables from causing flatulence, provides a missing enzyme needed to digest those foods.

Because of the many emails and phone calls I received over the past year about the rampant parasite problem I thought it would be a good idea to explain the general parasite programs.

The most common general program is the Para Cleanse, then Taio He Cleanse, then Para Cleanse again, then Taio He Cleanse again. A non-sugar, non-mushroom, non-white flour diet must be maintained during this time. If you wish to stay with your old habits, extend the program one more Para Cleanse and Taio He Cleanse.

A simpler but longer program is Yeast/Fungal Detox AND Artemisia until the parasites are eliminated. Again, the length of this program is related much to the diet.

A bowel repair program after eliminating the parasites is a highly recommended. After the parasite cleanse, take Intestinal Soothe & Build AND Probiotics Eleven until bowels are normal again.

Alcohol is fast becoming a widely used recreational drug. However, many do not consider alcohol to be a drug because of its wide use and social acceptance. But despite its popularity, alcohol is having profound physiological and physical effects on today’s young people.

Alcohol, when abused, is considered to be a drug because it suppresses the central nervous system. Small doses of alcohol provide a feeling of relaxation, but in larger doses, your concentration, coordination, and response time are all negatively affected.

Drinking alcohol in excess can also affect your physical body, causing headaches, nausea, and that infamous “beer belly.” Even more serious, however, is the fact that alcohol puts you at an increased risk for long-term conditions, including breast cancer and organ cirrhosis. Additionally, heavy drinkers often suffer nutritional deficiencies as alcohol displaces food as the body’s primary source of fuel. Alcohol in large doses over time affects the body at the cellular level, by altering the cells ability to replicate correctly.

Why can’t I cry? Sudden unexpected emotions cause the brain to release a chemical that leads to tears. Tears increase the level of endorphins, the chemicals that provide a sense of comfort and security. This relieves the stress, and then releases toxins. Yea, toxins! A person on their way back to health will find it ever so easy to cry.

Crying is embedded in the psychological. Depression with a physical ailment that is associated with tears can prevent crying. Severe depression and anger crush emotions, leaving someone without the prompt that starts the crying. Severely depressed and ruthlessly angry people go past the crying state into the untouchable cry proof state. Fighting depression can stop the urge to get it out. A person with a sexual problem that is using drugs, prescribed or non-prescribed, experience a decrease in the compassionate, emotional responses. Known fact! Medication, legal or illegal, tends to reduce a sense of sadness, therefore, reduces the feeling of shared happiness. The cost of the emotional blocking, the obstructing of emotion is the same as that felt by depressed or angry people. Because of the stress of this world, the pain it causes, so many people are now self medicating with alcohol, marijuana, and opiates that they end up in this emotional blocking state. They are unaware of being in this state, just preferring to go though as much of life as they can being just a space case.

Being a sociopath makes a person less likely to cry. Just because you read this don’t now assume you are a sociopath, it just a sociopath has little to actually cry about, since few if any will experience a true sharing of emotional pain.

There are also a few people born without the ability to feel actual physical pain. These people rarely cry, feeling physical pain will always bring up an emotional pain, so without it, no tears.

Crying is human; humans are the only species that has emotional tears. The situations that cause tears are the situations we remember most. It proves to all we are sensitive to things we come across in our lives and just because of that it is important for survival. The spilling of tears is an absolute to stay healthy.

Been hearing a lot of … having trouble going to sleep, and getting a good night sleep lately; probably from the ever so obvious world falling apart condition. The sleep aids that will help the stressed lifestyle or exhausted adrenal gland sleep is Melatonin Extra and 5HTP Power thirty minutes before bedtime. The only time I found this didn’t work was when a person’s digestion was so bad they couldn’t digest the formulas.

Add one Proactazyme to the two formulas if you suspect this.

How about ten other commandments for a simpler life direction!

1. Never worry, worry is the most fruitless of all human activities.
2. Don’t fear anything, very few things we fear ever happened.
3. Do not hold bitterness for anyone or anything, bitterness will lead to an early, painful death.
4. Face each problem as it comes, and enjoy it. Problems are what make life a journey, an adventure!
5. Do not take problems to bed with you, problems make a poor bedmate.
6. Do not dwell on other’s problems; they’re not yours to deal with.
7. Never relive yesterday, it is gone, just remember it for what you have learned. Look at today as your new adventure, and be happy with it!
8. Be a good listener, for only when you listen do you learn.
9. Never let problems lead frustration, frustration will only interfere with constructive action.
10. Count your blessings, all of them; small blessings add up to a big one.

Ever wonder why there is so much suffering in the world? Is it because of the influence of free choice? In a way, it is, but what is life without free choice-free will? So I guess it’s time to blame God, he could stop it. Now just think about it, the pain inflicted on human beings by other human beings is definitely not caused by a Supreme Being, he allows it, yes, because he allows free will-free choice. Because humans act evil and inflict pain on others out of the free will concept, we need to intervene as individuals, not as governments, to do what is necessary to stop oppression, war, torture, rape, murder, regardless were it is taking place. Backward developing countries, where the atrocities are open-accepted-unrestrained, are the real targets for pain inflicting power hungry oppressors. Stopping it there is the first step in advancing towards a civil advanced race the universe would accept as part of the universal family of sentient beings. The momentous problems facing the human race will not be solved with the same thinking that created them, so it is up to the mentally advanced individuals to step forward and take part in the change.

Absolutely! Yes, I want an Ipad! That’s one of the coolest toys that I think has been invented since sliced bread, I almost even considered entering some of those free iPad offers to see if I could win one. I currently own an Iphone and it has been one of the most functional awesome little toys. Actually I am not going to call it a toy I am going to call it a work tool that has allowed me to do work from nearly any around the world. So, the iPad is just the higher extension of that. Yes it has many limitations- I get that. It does not allow a number of functions and I am sure you’ll find plenty of reviews that tell you what it can and cannot do. But, as an over all, it is one of the coolest tool that has been around. Amongst its ability to be able to be taken anywhere you have WiFi capability. You also get to have the touch screen that is just pretty awesome compared to all the other technologies that I have ever seen, it works really very well. I have had touch screens as early as they came out and one of their least functional aspects was that they after a while, their sensitivity just would not work as well.

Over time the technologies improved and it has gotten really easy to do and type on the screen without loosing much of its functions. Having technology like this ipad allows me to be able to not have to bring a big laptop or to have to be in front of my computer at all the times. I can do pretty much anything that I want from a coffee shop or from anywhere. Yes, I know that I can use one of those little laptops, as a matter of fact I have one of those little laptops and I actually love it too but sometimes charge does not hold that long, an having to lug around the extra power chord cable can be a pain, the screen is sometimes not big enough and all those things that kind of get in the way….even with those challenges, it works and I will continue to use it for certain projects. But as a quick and easy tool to be able to just use anytime anywhere pretty much is the Ipad.

I haven’t got it yet, so part of the reason why I write this article is because I want to get iPad owners input on this technology. If you have one I want to know what has worked for you and what hasn’t worked as well. I’ll probably end up getting it anyway, but I would love to know what things you have come across that will be good for me to know. Father’s Day has certainly become part of my life now. Having been blessed with a beautiful wife and two awesome children, I have a new found perspective on Fathers. Raising my kids with my lovely wife has been truly awesome as well as challenging. Sometimes I am not sure how my parents managed with five of us. I only have two kids.

Going through fatherhood has helped me appreciate my father even more than before. I have always loved and held my father with the highest respect. But I hadn’t really understood many of the little and important details he provided, that is until now that I’m doing the same for my kids. I’ve only just begun to realy connect to the importance a father figure has in a child’s life. I guess this is part of why I’ve chosen to create my life in a way that allows me to be there for my kids as much as possible.

Even though I don’t believe one day to celebrate father’s day is anywhere near adequate, I still take the opportunity to honor and celebrate all those father figures out there. I trust that you will enjoy a beautiful day with the people you love and doing what you love.

What is a Market Samurai? We’ll I’m not sure how others define it. But I would say it is approaching marketing with Samurai Principles.» Interestingly enough, there is a tool that is called Market Samurai, and I’ve been using it for sometime. Initially, I thought of it as just another internet keyword search tool, but the more I learned from the individuals that created this tool, the more impressed I’ve become with their approach and this keyword tool. There is so much that information about the tool itself, and if you were to Google it, you’d find that there are many reviews about it. My intent is not to provide another review, my intent is to share a bit more of an approach that has changed much of my success, and trust it will do the same for you.

In the past, I used to take the approach of creating a product and then put it out to market. It seemed to make sense, right? Well, I came to learn that taking that approach was kind of like trying to find that needle in a hay stack. It could work, but I guess I could also win the lottery. Fortunately, even with this approach I did generate some sales because I did focus my products on trying meet a need in the market. But it still left much to be desired.

Over time I got a little bit smarter, and I learned that I could greatly increase my success by taking an intermediary step before even considering selling a product. That step was keyword and market research! Duh! This made a heck of a lot more sense. Just because I thought a product would be good, didn’t mean that it was something a lot of others would be looking for it. I also learned through keyword research that I could have the best product in the world, but if I didn’t communicate that in a way that would be understood by the person that needs it, I also would miss out on the opportunity to help them. So I started to learn a bit more about how to analyze keyword searches…

Most of this keyword research can be done online for free. For a good chunk of time I used only this method, but as I continued my business, it became clear that I was spending way too much time on research. I needed to find a way or a tool that would help me make this process easier. As I learned more, I kept hearing the name of this Market Samurai keyword search tool. So I decided to learn more about it and first downloaded their Free Market Samurai version and I followed their tutorials. Wow! I was hooked. This tool made my searching of keywords so much easier to do and to track. I immediately upgraded to the paid version and pretty much use it daily as one of my key tools to help make my life easier and my efforts more likely to succeed.

Why am I sharing this with you? Simply to exercise one of the principles that I am clear are essential to succeed. Help others and you help yourself in the process. Thus, I trust that this article will support you in your market and keyword research and tracking and will help you become more successful in whatever business you are conducting.

What? Yes, that’ right! I said I won this FIFA World Cup 2010 Of Soccer. Anyone who has kids will be particularly appreciative and understanding of what I mean by the end of this article. As some of you know, I have been blessed with having a beautiful addition our family, and she is now 3 months old. Thus, sleep and rest doesn’t come quite as often as it used to. But thanks to this World Cup Of Soccer, I have been able to sneak in a few more naps than before.

Why? That is because apparently my beautiful little daughter loves to watch soccer. I don’t know what it is about it, but she is just mesmerized by all back and forth action soccer brings. Literally, she can sit through an entire game just kicking along (it is actually quite funny), she is just kicking along during the game. It is almost as if she was taking part of the game. The only parts that she gets a little restless is during half time, when there is no soccer action going on. Otherwise, she is pretty involved in the game. Hopefully now it makes a little more sense as to how I win during these World Cup Soccer Games. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching some of them myself, but apparently I’m not quite as much into soccer as my little girl is. I guess there is something to be said about a child taking in what a mother is experiencing while being in the womb. Before we knew we were pregnant Cathy was heavily involved in soccer and she was truly enjoying her soccer games, and I trust she’ll get back into it someday. Maybe that has something to do with our little one enjoying soccer? That being said, I’m still not sure how our little boy has adopted so much passion for trains and fancy cars…cause neither one of us really get into them…who knows…

Anyway, I guess since we are talking about the World Cup, do any of you have any predictions as to who will win the whole thing? Though I’d like Mexico or US to win the whole thing, I believe it is going to be Brazil. What do you think? Feel free to leave your prediction below in the comments section.

Watching him be this miserable at night, only to wake and see the puffiness under his eyes and the redness around his neck. I can’t imagine any parent that doesn’t feel at least some level of discomfort while watching their little one suffer with eczema. Well, at least it has been diagnosed to be eczema by numerous doctors. So now we have a place to start supporting the health of our little one.

I am fully aware that eczema may be influenced by factors such as hereditary, environment and nutrition.  And our goal as parents is to address these issues from as many levels as possible, and one of these levels is the symptomology of his itchy and irritated skin. Thus, the search for some lotions and/or essential oils that would help minimize the itching and discomfort.  While at the same time address the issues such as environment and nutrition.

So I’ve discovered several resources that have come in very handy and I trust they may serve others in some way.  Please understand that I am sharing this with you as an anecdotal case, and my sharing is in no way intended to treat, cure, or even diagnose any condition you may be experiencing.  Please be smart about your decision making and consult with the appropriate health professional.

Now, onto the lotions.  I have gone through several traditional lotions, even some over the counter ones (though I tend to use those sparingly).  So far none provided me with any type of real results.  Thus, I decided to do a bit more research and create my own combination with all natural resources.  Thus, I am sharing the recipe of the “Lotion For Eczema” I used.
