Dr. Oz Green Drink Recipe is one of my favorite quick and easy healthy drinks I've enjoyed for sometime now.
Apparently this green drink recipe was first shared in the Oprah Show by Dr. Oz, back in 2007. I believe it is just as good and healthy now as it was then. I trust you'll enjoy it as well.
Dr. Oz preferred method is a green juice drink made from raw fresh greens and vegetables.
If this is your first time playing with a true green drink you may want to include more fruits like apples to add sweetness to what can be an "aquired taste" to the uninitiated.
Dr. Oz Green Drink Recipe
- 2 cups of spinach
- 2 cups of cucumber
- 1 head of celery
- 1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
- 1 bunch parsley
- Juice of 1 lime
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
Place ingredients in a blender, add 4 oz. spring water or a handful of ice cubes, then puree quickly for one minute. Makes two glasses of Dr. Oz’s green drink.
Remember, you may want to include more fruits like apples to add sweetness to what can be an "aquired taste" to the uninitiated.
Green drink – Optional ingredients:
- 2 cored apples
- raw carrot
- unsweetened fruit juice
And that’s the recipe for the Dr Oz Green Drink.
Dr. Oz says has stated that he makes his green drink breakfast recipe for himself many mornings quickly and with ease. Maybe it will help you get your morning started on the right foot as well.
